Curves are proud supporters of Cancer Research UK and raise funds throughout the year with the sale of handmade cards, second hand books and various other projects. Every year, Curves internationally raise funds specifically for Breast Cancer Research.

Each February we take part in the annual Curves Food Drive.  We collect food and toiletries for our local women’s refuge. We are very pleased that we are able to give enough non perishable items every February to last the families a whole year!

One of the smaller projects we are involved with is Samaritans Purse.  Our members and their families bring shoe boxes full of toys to the clubs every December and they are distributed to the poorest areas of the world.  Each year we aim to give over 125 boxes.

Most recently, Alyson, the owner of Curves Hitchin and Stevenage took part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride for the British Heart Foundation, but she completed it on an exercise bike on the beach! The team she worked with from the Victoria Public House in Hitchin raised over 4,000!!
